Restaurant Frauenhof:
The restaurant was opened in March 2018 and is located on the main square with a magnificent view of the castle and church. The Frauenhof has been serving classic dishes and combinations of international cuisine since 2022. The products take centre stage and are prepared in an unaffected, fresh and honest way. The Frauenhof emphasises sustainability. Only organic and biodynamic wines are offered on the wine list.

Banoo in the Rössli:
Banoo im Rössli is one of the oldest restaurants in Rapperswil. The house was built in 1589 and was officially run as an inn from 1616. The current restaurant is located in a former stable, which was built in 1628. Bruno Hug acquired the building in 1987 and completely renovated it, creating the restaurant in the basement. Through various renovations, it has become a cultural asset and today offers a high standard of cuisine.

Restaurant Paragraph 11:
The small restaurant in the heart of Rapperswil's old town was founded in 1889 by the local student fraternities and christened Paragraph 11 (§11). According to the statutes of the fraternities at the time (and presumably still today), this states "...drinking will continue." The §11 team reopened the cosy restaurant with minor changes at the beginning of 2018 and it is now the oldest restaurant in Rapperswil that has never changed its name since it was founded in 1889. Today, the restaurant offers home-style cooking. If you would like to experience a piece of old and new pub culture, we look forward to welcoming you.

Paia Poké with a view of the lake is a little insider tip. The Hawaiian poké bowls are a real BOOSTER for your health, freshly prepared and super tasty! The poké bowl, which is customised to your liking with rice, fish, meat or tofu, vegetables and fruit and rounded off with one of six delicious sauces, will delight your taste buds.

At lunchtime, the Sayori restaurant offers a wide range of reasonably priced menus. And in the evening, it transforms into a romantic, stylishly furnished restaurant with dishes from Japanese, Chinese and Thai cuisine.

The centrepiece is formed by two square tables, which can be used in a variety of ways thanks to their flexible height (72 cm and 105 cm). At seat height, each table offers space for up to 8 chairs. This means that up to 16 people can be comfortably seated.
Technology fans will also get their money's worth, because the powerful WiFi is just the beginning. The modern 65-inch multimedia TV can be easily connected to your computer and is perfect for presentations. Various TV channels are also available via Swisscom TV. Four speakers integrated into the room ensure good sound.

Radio Zürisee Loft:

Get a breath of fresh radio air and be inspired by the creative and productive environment. The first Radio Loft in Switzerland, a unique event location with state-of-the-art equipment and technology, in the beautiful dance hall of the former Hotel Post in the heart of Rapperswil-Jona. Whether for seminars or meetings in a private atmosphere, Christmas dinners, concerts or wedding celebrations, the Radio Zürisee Loft can be used individually and offers the right location for a wide variety of events. Thanks to its central location, the loft is very easy to reach by all means of transport. Rapperswil railway station is directly opposite and just a two-minute walk away - as are various parking options. Depending on the occasion, the Loft offers 120 square metres of space for up to 100 people.

Room overview: ENTRA offers ideal event spaces for events from 10 to 1,000 guests in five room modules covering around 2,000m².
HALL (WITH MIRO): The special shape creates proximity and characterises the hall together with the height-adjustable stage and the LED wall measuring up to 11x7m. 1,000 people / 750m²
MIRO: MIRO can be partitioned off under the gallery in the hall with a movable wall. Ideal for a live streaming studio, break-out sessions, seminars or lectures for up to 200 people. 300 people / 212m²
FOYER: The light-flooded foyer is the perfect place to meet, linger and enjoy. Natural, high-quality materials create an open, relaxed atmosphere. 700 people / 520m²
PLURA: The multi-purpose room is particularly suitable for seminars, workshops, break-out sessions, meetings with many participants or as a production office. PLURA can be subdivided at certain points using a partition wall. For example 107/70m² or 124/53m² or 142/35m²... /100 people / 177m²

Escape Rooms / Outdoor Escape:
There are 2 Exitadventure escape rooms in the centre of the old town. The indoor games are suitable for company events, friends or families. If you like solving puzzles under time pressure, this is the right place for you. They now also offer 7 different outdoor escape games that can be played by up to 300 people at the same time. The outdoor escape games are also very popular because you can not only solve the puzzles, but also experience and explore the beautiful old town of Rapperswil at the same time. For corporate events, the tours and puzzles can be customised to suit the company. Exitadventure can now take over the entire organisation from one day to a whole weekend.
DRAGON BOAT AND CANOE EVENTS:
Are you looking for an extraordinary event for your company or club? Experience unforgettable moments on the water with the Rapperswil-Jona Canoe Club. Our diverse fleet of dragon boats and canoes offers the perfect opportunity for team-building activities in picturesque surroundings. Whether you prefer a relaxed paddle across Lake Zurich or are planning an adventurous dragon boat event, we will do everything we can to make your individual event experience unforgettable. The Rapperswil-Jona Canoe Club has four dragon boats and three 10-person canoes. A joint paddling excursion promotes team spirit and harmony in a breathtaking environment. The helmsmen from the KCRJ also teach beginners the technique of this sport.
The trip to the island of Lützelau is a special experience. Enjoy a short or longer stay on the island with an ice-cream break, aperitif or a sumptuous BBQ and let the island team spoil you. Events for up to 100 people can be organised. We also offer beautiful round trips on Lake Zurich, with or without an aperitif at our water sports centre.
Minigolf:
Beautiful minigolf course for young and old in a panoramic lakeside location, directly behind the ice rink and next to the water sports centre. The modern minigolf course, completed in 2005, is located in the Lido, in the immediate vicinity of the beach path, the ice rink and the water sports centre.

The island of Lützelau:
Lützelau comes from Old High German and means nothing other than "small island". The name does not come from just anywhere. With a length of around 300 metres and a maximum width of 150 metres, Lützelau is a beautiful little island.
As part of the largest nature reserve in Lake Zurich, the island invites you to relax and linger. You feel like you're on holiday, enjoying a good drink with a view of the lake. The island was first mentioned in writing in the 8th century. At that time, it was sold to the monastery of St. Gallen. Today, the island is owned by the local community of Rapperswil, which leases it to Rapperswil Zürichsee Tourismus. The island has been managed by us three young lads since 2023. We are the "end tenants" and are responsible for the campsite, compliance with nature conservation and quiet times. The island not only offers a place to relax for the approximately 30 permanent campers and day guests, but is also an important breeding and recreation site for various bird species.
Bowling:
Bowling is something for young and old
From young to old, our bowling centre is a fun place to play bowling. Up to 6 people can play on one bowling alley. A game has 10 frames and lasts approx. 10 minutes per person. With 6 people, 1 game therefore lasts approx. 60 minutes. The aim of the game is to score as many points as possible and to throw strikes and spares. In addition to bowling, you can also play billiards, darts and other games. Our bar serves mineral water, soft drinks, alcoholic drinks, hot drinks, snacks, short drinks, long drinks and cocktails. At the bar you can also watch sports programmes and other important events on our TVs and big screens.
Knee's children's zoo
Knie's children's zoo is part of the traditional Swiss Knie Circus and is a popular meeting place for people and animals: Asian elephants weighing tonnes, curious African dwarf goats and nimble squirrel monkeys guarantee impressive experiences.
A ride on a pony or, for those who want to go higher, on a two-humped camel means close contact with the animal. The very brave can even venture onto the back of an elephant. The nostalgic "horse-drawn tram ride", the pirate ship and the adventure playground also offer plenty of fun.
The "Himmapan" elephant park is one of the highlights of Knie's children's zoo. The elephants have plenty of space here and visitors can observe the animals from above from a wooden bridge.
Alpamare
Children and adults can have lots of fun at "Alpamare": the largest water and fun park in Switzerland has 12 water slides with a total length of 2,100 metres. With curves, funnels, light effects and special bobs, the slides are very different and everyone will find their favourite slide.
For those who prefer to splash around in the water, the Rio Mare river pool and the indoor wave pool offer exciting bathing. Those seeking relaxation will also get their money's worth: in the Alpa-Thermeand the 36 degree "brine bath" or in the sauna.
A large sunbathing lawn in a fantastic panoramic location, restaurants, a fitness centre and more round off what Alpamare has to offer.

Come by and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere with a cool beer and a view of the lake. The bar with its prime location on Rapperswil harbour is always worth a visit. Cool drinks and a friendly team would certainly be delighted.
Schüür:
Welcome to the Schüür, the oasis in Kempraten for chilling out, enjoying and relaxing. Here everyone will find their favourite spot in an uncomplicated atmosphere. If you fancy a visit, I look forward to seeing you. See you soon

Drink: The Schüür is still the region's beer pub. You can savour over 100 types of beer, from traditional to extravagant. The unique range of lemonades from Switzerland and abroad will also make you bubble with enthusiasm.
Food: On offer daily are various grilled sausages, bocadillos with Serrano ham and tomato bruschetta.
Wednesday and Thursday:
Focaccia with ratatouille hummus or tzatziki with tortilla chips or Wiedikerli on sauerkraut
Risotto:
An absolute must for risotto lovers. Plinio, a master of this Ticino speciality, cooks different variations every first Wednesday of the month (dates on the homepage)

Stall Bar:
CELEBRATION EVENING is STALL O'CLOCK!
The STALL Bar is a seasonal after-work bar right next to Jona railway station (Rapperswil-Jona). In an old barn and a rustic cowshed, we offer an exciting selection of different drinks and a fresh & small but delicious range of food. We are happy to serve our guests in an uncomplicated and informal atmosphere (self-service at the bar).
Our restaurant is unheated and, when the weather is fine, the evening service takes place outside on the north terrace (100 seats) and in the rear courtyard (60 seats). On rainy and colder evenings, 40 guests can be seated comfortably at the bar counter and tables inside the barn. The Scheunentenn on the first floor can be opened for events or larger group aperitifs for up to 50 people as required.
